This is a very funny book by a man who has lived a life that has killed lesser mortals. Buy multiple copies and give them to people as an inspiration and a warning.
Nobody has the Aussie idiom down pat better than Monty Webber and the stories show ruthless honesty about the weirder side of life, the stories we may not always like to hear but should never fail to acknowledge. Webber shows the Aussie surf mentality for its fun and its faults - just the way it really is. Highly recommended for sheer laughs but like a lot of comedy there's tragedy and intelligence in there too.
